LTC Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus, a part of Louisiana Technical College, offers a range of educational opportunities at diploma, associate ad certificate levels. The campus provides instruction in automotive technology, developmental studies, practical nursing and welding. It also conducts classes in obstetrics, pediatrics, advanced pharmacology and customer service. LTC Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus provides grants, scholarships and other financial aids. The campus has a library, as well as offers distance learning opportunities. It maintains an online bookstore that provides textbooks and supplementary course materials. LTC Ward H. Nash Avoyelles Campus also offers business mathematics, advanced word processing and database management.

Founded in 1987, AMIkids Baton Rouge is a private nonprofit, staff-secure alternative education school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our alternative school works in collaboration with local school districts, emphasizing the improvement of student citizenship and increasing academic functioning levels. Referred youth receive alternative education because they are unable to perform within the public school system, have displayed disruptive behavior, are facing expulsion or have learning disabilities or emotional handicaps.AMIkids Baton Rouge uses the evidence-based, research-driven AMIkids Personal Growth Model in offering dynamic programs and comprehensive services to treat each kid's unique issues, primarily focusing on education, behavior modification, and treatment.Since 1987, AMIkids Baton Rouge has helped over 3,000 kids transform their lives and despite entering our program with prior offenses, 93% of our kids do not re-offend after graduating from our program.
