De La Salle High School

Founded in 1936, De La Salle High School, New Orleans, La., serves students in grades nine through 12. The school s academic curriculum includes religious studies, arts, English, fine arts, social studies and math. Additionally, its curriculum includes college preparatory, honors and advanced placement levels of study. De La Salle High School s extracurricular activities include a home-school organization, athletic association, booster club, music association, and junior high and senior high school student government and social functions. It offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, softball, volleyball, tennis, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and track and field. The school also offers studies in performing arts and health and physical education. It additionally provides various classes in technology education and world languages. The school is accredited by the Department of Education and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
