The Pit Stop Rescue is a certified non-profit foster-based organization dedicated to rescuing and preventing the abuse, neglect, and exploitation of pit bulls in southern Louisiana. With the help of donations and volunteers, they provide comprehensive medical care, including vaccinations, spaying/neutering, and heartworm treatment, to all dogs in their program before finding them loving forever homes.
Through their tireless efforts, The Pit Stop Rescue has successfully saved over 200 pit bulls and counting, giving them a second chance at life. They are committed to raising awareness about the misunderstood pit bull breed and strive to be a voice and safe haven for these beautiful, loyal, and fun-loving dogs.
