History

For 13 years,The Creole Gardens Bed and Breakfast hotel has been a favorite with locals and out of towners alike. Convenient for both the tourist and business traveler -- just minutes to the French Quarter, walking distance to the Convention Center, 3 blocks from the WWII Museum and art galleries, one block from the St Charles Ave streetcars (and the Mardi Gras parades too!) and standing at the gateway to the mansions of the Garden District and such uptown attractions as Tulane & Loyola Universities, the Zoo and Audubon Park. All of our 24, pet & kid friendly, bed & breakfast guest rooms are individually decorated in whimsical, romantic or traditional themes, all with private bathrooms. Our three antebellum houses, historically renovated, center on a shaded banana tree courtyard with cooling fountains. Dog friendly (with just a small one-time fee)!

We serve a complimentary Hot Full Southern Breakfast each morning in the Main Dining Room inside the Mansion. Located in the heart of the Lower Garden District just steps from the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar Line with easy access to the French Quarter, Mercedes-Benz Superdome, New Orleans Arena, New Orleans Morial Convention Center and the National World War II Museum. Just a short streetcar ride uptown to Tulane & Loyola Universities and Audubon Park & Zoo.
