The mission of the Shreveport Office of Water & Sewerage is to deliver safe, high-quality drinking water to the citizens of Shreveport, La., while also providing them with safe, efficient and sanitary sewerage and wastewater disposal services. Its field operations division operates and maintains the city's water and wastewater systems at their optimum state of efficiency and reliability as allowed by budget, manpower and equipment allocations. The wastewater division is an environmentally focused organization that strives to meet or surpass all governmental mandated standards to protect the environment at a cost lower than most cities in the South. The Shreveport Office of Water & Sewerage employs approximately 150 people.

It has been years since we visited. We hit al the highlights. It is evident the storms and economy has had a big impact on this town and area. The people were nice and resilient. The local art...

One of the undiscovered gems in LA. Probably because it's so far from NOLA. There's a lot to see and do and for now, until it gets discovered, activities and real estate is very reasonably priced.
