The Southwest Louisiana Area Health Education Center, also known as SWLAHEC, is a community-based agency that offers a range of health care programs and services. The center provides health care promotion, wellness awareness, clinical support and medical staff recruitment services. It offers information, educational and disease presentation services. The center administers various grants and contracts to coordinate, implement and evaluate health care programs.
