The food here actually isn't that bad. But I can't go so far as to actually say it's good either. It's greasy for one. The stuffed crab is rarely good but the fried shrimp, fish and chicken...

At our Shreveport, LA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Yeah, I should have checked reviews before pulling in. A Tuesday night visit resulted in a 13m for the car ahead to receive their order. I got mine instantly and you can see it was overcooked...

The food was great. I haven't been to a Captain Ds since I was a kid in Ft Worth. Also, the service was spectacular. Everyone was friendly and treated my mother and I like family.
