A native of the Henderson, Louisiana area and knowledgeable of the regional waterways, Mark will share in French or English, his lifelong nature experiences with you as well as first hand stories about the ways of life in the swamps and bayous of South Louisiana. Depending on your area of interest within the Atchafalaya River Basin, we can curtail your excursion to how much time you have to spend with us, and the specific nature interest you would like to experience. For example, we offer a minimum two- hour Deep Swamp Excursion in the Henderson Swamp Area as our introduction to the Atchafalaya Swamp.
