C E Byrd High School

C.E. Byrd High School provides various learning opportunities to the students of Shreveport, La. The school offers classes from kindergarten grades eight through 12 and enrolls more than 2,000 students. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, including English, math, science, history, social science, visual and performing arts, vocational education, consumer science, physical education and elective options. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes and supports various school events and programs. C.E. Byrd High School also operates various clubs and provides a variety of extracurricular activities, such as band and builders club, cheerleaders, National Honor Society, strings, student council, and Latin and Leo club. It also provides a variety of athletic programs, including football, tennis, volleyball, golf, basketball, soccer and softball. The school has a fully equipped library, a media center, a cafeteria, and a computer lab.
