Bunkie General Hospital

The Bunkie General Hospital, founded in 1971, is a community-based, nonprofit health care provider. It is a 25-bed critical access hospital with a 24-hour emergency department. It conducts cardiac rehabilitation programs for individuals who are diagnosed with angina, heart attack and those who are recovering from corrective heart surgeries and coronary artery diseases. The hospital is located in Bunkie, La. and provides various laboratory services, including testing procedures for in-patients, outpatients and emergencies. Its radiology department offers advanced radiographic treatment for patients. The Bunkie General Hospital also conducts various community service programs in its facility, such as the Silver Society program for senior citizens.
