Broadmoor Theater

The Broadmoor Theatre, located in Baton Rouge, LA, opened its doors in 1965 and was initially operated by the Ogden-Perry chain. Over the years, it underwent several transformations, ultimately converting from a single-screen venue to a four-screen cinema before its closure in the late 1990s.

Despite a brief revival in 1998, the theater struggled with outdated technology and ultimately closed permanently in 2002. The Broadmoor Theatre, remembered fondly by local patrons for its vibrant past, was demolished in 2015.
