Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast

Blue Heron was named Louisiana's 2019 B&B of the Year by the Louisiana Travel Association, and was three times voted the best B&B on Louisiana's Northshore! It is located in the heart of Old Mandeville, just 30 minutes from New Orleans, and within walking distance of Lake Pontchartrain and the Tammany Trace. Guests can walk to a number of restaurants, shops, entertainment, and outdoor recreation without ever having to get in the car. Old Mandeville is a beautiful, historic community - perfect for biking and walking everywhere! Each guest suite has its own entrance from a private porch. A continental breakfast consisting of quiche, pastries, fresh fruit and other items is stocked in the rooms daily, so guests can wake and dine at their leisure, either in their suite or on their private porch. Blue Heron also prioritizes a healthy, toxin-free environment. The rooms are stocked with therapeutic grade essential oils from Young Living, a diffuser and other plant-based products for guests to enjoy during their stay.
