Andrea M. Olofson, MD

Dr. Xinyu (Alan) Wu received his medical degree from Norman Bethune University of Medical Sciences in Changchun in 2002. He went on to complete his internship and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven. He completed his fellowship in oncologic surgical pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York.x000D Dr. Wu has been on staff at Ochsner since July 2020. Dr. Wu’s expertise is in pathology.

Dr. Courtney Hanna practices cytopathology at Ochsner Health. She received her medical degree from University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, and she completed her residency at University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her fellowship in cytopathology at University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Hanna is board certified by American Board of Pathology and completed her residency in 2014. She has been on staff at Ochsner since August 2020.

Samuel Bidot, MD, specializes in hematopathology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Bidot earned his medical degree from the University of Burgundy in Dijon, France, in 2008. After completing an ophthalmology residency in Dijon, France, he practiced neuro-ophthalmology and pediatric ophthalmology for several years in Paris, France before moving to the United States. Dr. Bidot then completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a hematopathology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and a surgical pathology fellowship at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Dr. Bidot is board-certified by the American Board of Pathology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2025.
