My name is Emily Wagner. I started a CrossFit gym in 2011. While I love CrossFit, I quickly realized that it can be intimidating, especially to those who are just starting out on their fitness journey. So I expanded my building and added a NON CrossFit gym called Newport Fitness, which specializes in personal training and Em's Fitcamp. Em's Fitcamp is an incredible program that ANYONE can do. It embodies the core concepts of CrossFit of total body fitness mixed in with a motivating community. But with this program, we took out all of the scary lifting, the rings, the pull-ups and intimidating jocks. Anyone, all ages and sizes, can walk into Em's Fitcamp and feel comfortable. We offer 6 to 7 classes per day and hope to empower women and men to a new healthy style of fitness that is fun at the same time!
