Stopped here on our way to explore Cairo staff was wonderful learned a lot about the mystery of the area

We have driven past Wickliffe Mounds hundreds of times and of all days for us to plan on stopping- it was closed!. It always looks inviting and we will try again another day!

Very worthwhile stop. The mounds were home to the Mississippian error Native Americans. The museum is very interesting along with a very large display of artifacts.
