Dr. Bowers is a board certified ophthalmologist who served as Chief Resident and is Assistant Clinical Professor at the U of L Department of Ophthalmology. She is in private practice specializing in cataract and refractive surgery.

At PADUCAH LASIK CENTER, Dr. Bowers performs refractive procedures that are FDA approved. The most popular way to correct vision is with a procedure known as LASIK, which uses a laser to change the curvature of the cornea (outer window of the eye).
