Madie Carroll House Preservation Society

The Madie Carroll House, located at 234 Guyan St. in Huntington, WV, is the oldest structure in Cabell County, dating back to before 1810. A significant historical site, it has served various roles, including an inn and the first Catholic church in the area, and is renowned for its connection to Civil War events. Preserved by the Madie Carroll House Historical Preservation Society, Inc. since 1984, the house continues to engage the community through events and educational programs.
