The Pain Treatment Center of the Bluegrass is the largest freestanding facility in the Central Kentucky area dedicated to pain treatment. Founded in 1993 by Ballard D. Wright, M.D., the Center specializes in treating patients for whom traditional medical and surgical methods have failed to alleviate their pain. Our mission is to provide a multidisciplinary approach to quality and cost-effective health care for acute or chronic pain patients in an atmosphere of social concern and scholarly inquiry. The Center takes pride in its ability to help difficult cases where conservative therapy has failed. As a full-service medical provider for pain management, we have a staff that includes doctors, behavioral medicine specialists, and more.
