The Candle Loft

The Candle Loft is located on Fountain Square in the heart of historic downtown Bowling Green Kentucky. It sits above locally owned and operated Candle Makers on the Square. The second floor view of Fountain Square and Main Street is lovely. As a non-traditional Bed and Breakfast, The Candle Loft is actually a full suite that includes a king bed in the main room, and a queen bed in a separate bedroom. The suite also includes a complete kitchen and formal sitting area, as well as a dining area and den. The breakfast aspect of our B&B is also unique. You will enjoy a choice of four locales around the Square that offer a wonderful breakfast on us! Three of these are less than 100 yards away from the Candle Loft. If you prefer to dine in your suite, the innkeeper would be more than happy to deliver your order. Local Attractions: The Fountain Square area offers great shopping, dining and entertainment venues. The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts (SKyPAC) is an 1800 seat state-of-the-art theater, just a 4 minute walk from the Square. The Hot Rods professional baseball park is also just minutes away on foot. There are eight local fine restaurants within easy walking distance, as well as several relaxing spas and night spots. Cave country, the Corvette Museum and assembly plant, Riverview, and the L&N Railroad Depot and Museum are wonderful places to visit within an easy driving range from Downtown.
