Specialty Foods Group employs more than 1,000 people and is a producer and marketer of several brand names including Nathan s Famous, Swift Premium, Alpine Lace, Fields, Fischers, William Fischer Deli meats, Scott Petersen, Mosey s, Mickelberry s and Liguria Italian Specialties meats. These brands are available through a range of outlets including national and regional supermarkets, independent food retailers, delicatessens and food service distributors. The firm operates plants in Owensboro, Ky., Chicago, Williamston, N.C., and Humboldt, Iowa. All Specialty Food Group plants are Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points certified with a focus on food safety.
