Operational since 1923, Southern States Cooperative has been one of the largest farmer-owned cooperatives in the nation. Located in Glasgow, Ky., it is owned by more than 300,000 farmers and spreads across 1,200 retail locations in 23 states. The company s wide range of offerings is available in the categories of farm supplies, fencing, horse supplies, lawn/garden, grass/vegetable seed and many more. Southern States Cooperative has memberships with CRF, an animal nutrition research group and FFR, specializing in forage seed-breeding.
