Siddharth V. Jain, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist and epileptologist with Norton Children’s Neuroscience Institute. He specializes in treating pediatric patients with neurological disorders, including migraine, headaches and seizures. Dr. Jain earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India, and completed his residency in pediatric neurology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. He completed a fellowship in pediatric neurology at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, and a fellowship in epilepsy at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio. When away from work, Dr. Jain enjoys spending time with his family and traveling to and exploring new places.

Dr. Michael Sweeney is an assistant professor in the Division of Child Neurology. He joined the Department of Neurology at the University of Louisville in 2016. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in child neurology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He then went on to become the first pediatric neurologist to complete an autoimmune neurology fellowship at the University of Utah as a James T. Lubin fellow through the Transverse Myelitis Association. Upon joining as faculty at the University of Louisville, he started the regions first-ever clinic to treat children specifically with immune-mediated neurologic disorders. He also joined with colleagues in the Department of Neurology to start an adult autoimmune neurology clinic in conjunction with an established neuroimmunology program. Dr. Sweeney participates in the Division of Child Neurology’s very active outreach clinic program. He travels to Taylor Regional Hospital monthly for a pediatric general neurology clinic. He oversees the education for medical students and residents who rotate through the child neurology inpatient and outpatient services. He is active in lecturing for first and second year medical students. He is a member of the education committee within the Department of Neurology. He is an active member of the Transverse Myelitis Association and attends their family camp each summer. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society.
