Established in 1984, Cornerstone Christian Academy offers various biblically based educational programs to students in grades kindergarten through 12. It offers the A Beka academic curriculum that includes English, geography, civics, American and world history, physical and earth sciences, biology, anatomy, chemistry and physics, consumer math, geometry, prealgebra, algebra, and advanced math. The school s curriculum also includes calculus, Bible studies, Spanish, computer studies, including keyboarding, advanced information processing and Internet, and various elective courses, such as art and physical education. The school additionally offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs, such as volleyball, basketball, cheer leading, golf, baseball, soccer and football. Capital Day School, located in Frankfort, Ky., is an independent, coeducational school offering educational instructions to students from prekindergarten through grade eight. The school is a member of the Independent Schools Association of the Central States, and undergoes a regular review by the association to maintain its accreditation.
