Living History Museum, a part of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, reserves and maintains the artifacts of Shaker history. The museum features more than 10 original Shaker buildings. It maintains a collection of historical furniture. Living History Museum also organizes music performances in 1820 Meeting House. The museum maintains a village farm that exhibits animal breeds and heirloom vegetables. It additionally demonstrates several trade techniques, such as broom making, woodworking, spinning and weaving. Living History Museum conducts various weekend events, including antique shows, workshops and craft fairs. The museum conducts self-guided walking tours, as well as provides online information about tickets.

The food and service was great! There was a good bit of area to drive and enjoy the scenery. I would go back for the restaurant.

Very interesting place with lots of history. The religion is interesting and the people conducting the tours are top notch!! The restaurant is not to be missed! The lemon pie is outstanding!
