Dr. Brey then completed a fellowship in pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn.In addition to offering a full range of orthopedic care for children, Dr. Brey has special interests in pediatric sports injuries and trauma. Dr. Breys mission is to help children return to their pre-injury function as quickly as possible while working with families to reduce the chance of future injury. Dr. Brey aims to treat as many patients as possible with nonsurgical care but does perform arthroscopic surgeries when needed. Dr. Brey works closely with therapists, trainers and coaches to reduce sports injuries among children and adolescents.Dr. Brey is on staff at Norton Childrens Hospital and Norton Childrens Medical Center Brownsboro. She also has a clinical faculty appointment with the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery. Her research interests include fracture management and pediatric overuse injuries.A native of Louisville, Dr. Brey is excited to return to her hometown to practice. Away from the office, she and her family enjoy U of L athletics, where Dr. Brey earned four varsity letters in swimming. She is a member of U.S. Masters Swimming and USA Triathlon.
