Schmitt's Florist was first opened for business in 1968 by Pat and John Schmitt. The business opened with Pat as the only employee in a small 900 square foot store. With a dedicated staff of professionals Schmitt's has grown into one of Louisville's finest flower shops. Today our home is still in the same neighborhood we started in over 37 years ago. And we've kept our dedication to high quality and consistency that has made us a choice Louisville florist today. The only difference is we now have 15 employees and a 7000 square foot modern state of the art design facility. We carry a large selection of cut flowers, plants, and silk arrangements and are members of the Society of American Florists', Kentucky Florists' Association, the Independent Florists' Association ( IFA ) and FTD.
