She enjoys assisting oncology patients through their journey and interacting with patients and their families. Amy has a teenage daughter. Sarah L. Harris, DNP, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Cancer Institute. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, and her doctorate in nursing from Kentucky State University in Frankfort. Sarah has experience in inpatient and outpatient settings for a variety of specialties, including oncology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, intensive care and gerontology. She strives to provide quality patient care while empowering her patients by educating them about managing their conditions. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, spending time with her husband and children, and traveling.
