Rockcastle Area Technology Center

Bluegrass Community & Technical College was formed in 2005 following the consolidation of Central Kentucky Technical College and Lexington Community College. It is a member of the Kentucky Community and Technical College System, and is a public, two-year degree granting institution serving the Bluegrass region of Kentucky. The college offers certificates, diplomas, associate degrees and transfer programs, developmental and adult education programs, business and industry customized training programs, and continuing education and community outreach services. Various academic programs offered by the college include accounting, biological sciences, civil engineering technology, dental lab technology, foreign languages, history, nursing, business management and marketing, and women s studies. Bluegrass Community & Technical College also offers courses in classical language and literature, electrical engineering, political science, radiography, respiratory care program, philosophy, and information management and design.
