Yesterday was the ice cream social with free live music and free entrance to the historic home. There were docents inside the home who talked about the importance and history of this place....

We made a reservation to tour the grounds and house. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed our time there.

Stopped in before dinner after the torrential floods we have received. Was surprised by how much it had gone down. It was late evening and most everyone was gone. The park was quiet and clean....
