Rising Sun Developing We help growing communities build strong. Never content with yesterday's achievements, we are motivated by a vision of growth for tomorrow. In 1997, Rising Sun was founded by a father-son team, Jimmy and Jason Akers, to fulfill this vision. We began by building post offices. In the decades since, our team has grown to nearly 300. We self-perform challenging projects with pride and invest in our team and community.
