History
Since 1972 The Point has offered inclusive programs via a fully integrated approach in community settings to those with special needs. Our approach is unique in that over 60% of our revenue comes from our own programs. Without the continued, loyal support of our business and supporter community we could not have touched as many lives as we have- thank you! In 2015 we added Point Perk to our vast list of businesses where we are able to employ our adults.
Specialties
The Point Perk employs adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our employees work in front of house doing the point of sale and helping make your customer service experience excellent. After being with us for 6-8 months and building their interpersonal skills, we will have the opportunity to integrate our employees into other local businesses! Then we will have the chance to get a new crew in to do the same process all over again!
