Established in 1971, Manchester Memorial Hospital is a 60-bed acute care, nonprofit hospital. It employs more than 450 people and serves over 60,000 people annually. The hospital is a parent organization for more than five home health agencies. It offers services, such as anesthesiology, cardiopulmonary, CT scans, diabetes education, 24-hour emergency response, endoscopy, family medicine, general surgery, gift shop, gynecological procedures and laboratory testing servcies. It also offers mammnography, orthopedic surgery, outpatient services, pathology, pediatrics, therapies, radiology and ultrasound. Located in Manchester, Ky., the hospital is certified by Medicare and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The hospital also has a baby club for pregnant mothers. Its club offers childbirth classes, meals and special birth packages. Manchester Memorial Hospital is a Christian hospital and is owned and operated by Adventist Health System, a nonprofit Protestant healthcare organization in the United States.
