Pathology Associates

Founded in 1967, Pathology and Cytology Laboratories is a provider of specialized anatomic pathology services, including tissue transport, preparation, immunohistochemistry testing and final patient reporting. It offers a range of services, such as cytopathology, hematopathology, clinical laboratory consultations and laboratory medical directorships. The laboratory has more than 10 board-certified pathologists and nearly 15 certified cytotechnologists who serve various hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, clinics and physician offices. The laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists, The American Society of Cytology and The Healthcare Financing Administration. In addition, the laboratory also operates an accredited school of cytotechnology that is affiliated with the Eastern Kentucky University to train cytotechnologists. It is located in Lexington, Ky.
