In other words, if we want to feel better, we must think better.In order to help clients lead manageable, healthy lives, Ivory teaches methods by which to modify unhealthy and inappropriate thinking and replace those thoughts with a more functional and appropriate perspective. She asks that clients be active in their treatment, as they hold the key to better mental health. Ivory believes that her clients are the experts in their own lives, so she offers the tools and feedback necessary to enable them to become healthier and have more appropriate responses to not only highly stressful situations, but daily life as well. Counseling associates has been offering assistance to adults, adolescents and children in coping with feelings for over 25 years. We are available Monday through Thursday from 8-9 pm and Friday 8- noon.
