Originally the Fischer Meat Packing Company, the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center (MAEC) has been renovated into a 360,000 square foot home to over 200 artist studios, 4 event rooms, specialty stores, galleries, teaching studios, office spaces, rehearsal spaces, dance studios, gyms, and more. Aside from our various commercial spaces, MAEC also houses four event venues perfect for all types of parties. We are constantly renovating new areas to expand our artistic community and retail area. MAEC will start construction on our largest room yet in 2018. We constantly strive to promote local businesses and artisans.

Very fun trip here! First time coming and it won't be our last. Dog friendly and Chloe enjoyed finding her doppelgänger on a pillow. Plan to spend a couple of hours to see everything.
