Danville-Boyle County Recreation Dept

The Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation Department was established to provide recreational activities for the community, to supervise development of new parkland and to maintain existing park facilities. The department offers a youth baseball complex, a youth soccer or football complex and a softball complex, as well as walking trails, pond with fountain, picnic tables, shelters and playgrounds. Danville-Boyle County Parks and Recreation Department also offers fitness classes, such as karate and dance classes. The department has a fitness center that is equipped with racquetball courts. The fitness center also has a weight room equipped with a wide variety of resistance equipment, as well as free weights, cardiovascular equipment and a separate abdominal room.
