HistoryI was admitted to the bar in 1982, the same year I received my legal degree from Duke University's School of Law. After graduation, I worked as a law clerk for a judge on Kentucky's Court of Appeals. When the judge for whom I worked lost his election bid, I practiced law with him and others in Central City (Muhlenberg County), Kentucky. While there, I had a broad general practice and served as an Assistant County Attorney (mostly prosecuting misdemeanors). I left Muhlenberg County and returned to Louisville, where I worked for two private law firms over the next five years. I then went to work at the U.S. Attorney's Office, prosecuting federal crimes thoughout western Kentucky. In 1996, I left government employment and started my own law firm. I have been representing clients in Kentucky and southern Indiana since then.SpecialtiesAssisting those with criminal charges or financial difficulties.
