Lauren S Talley, MD

Dr. Lucinda Thurman Wright is Associate Professor of Pediatrics and serves as Medical Director of the Marfan Syndrome and Connective Tissue Disease Clinic at U of L and Medical Director of Fetal Cardiology at Norton Children’s Hospital. A native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Dr. Wright is a 1994 graduate of University of Louisville College of Arts and Sciences and a 1998 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed a pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at Cohen Children’s Medical Center (formerly Schneider Children's Hospital) in New York City. Dr. Wright’s special interests include Marfan Syndrome and the diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease using advanced cardiac imaging including fetal echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography and transthoracic echocardiography. Dr. Wright is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology.

Walter Sobczyk is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Dr. Sobczyk has participated in numerous research studies and his work has been published in journals such as The Journal of Invasive Cardiology, the Annals of Thoracic Surgery and the Journal of the Kentucky Medical Association. He also has been a presenter and speaker on the subjects of pediatric cardiology, adult congenital heart disease, and obesity at regional and national conferences. Dr. Sobczyk earned his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha where he also completed his internship, residency and a one-year fellowship in cardiovascular pathology. He also completed a three-year fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati.

Dr. Bullock is a 2005 graduate of George Washington University School of Medicine, Washington, DC. She completed her residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center of NY, New Hyde Park, NY and pediatric cardiology Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC. She has received the Top 20 Clinical Teacher of the Year Award (2016-2017), Norton Hospital and Norton Children’s Hospital “Better Care” Award, University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics Chairman’s Achievement Award, University of Louisville Pediatric Cardiology Award, Presidential Academic Merit Scholarship Award, University Honors Scholarship, National Collegiate Scholar and Dorset Scholarship Award.
