Lake Barkley State Park, located in Cadiz, Ky., offers a wide range of recreational facilities for the residents. It has more than 100 guest rooms and a number of nonsmoking rooms. The facilities provided by the park include free parking, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, hot tub baths, and playgrounds. It also offers on-site fishing and sauna facilities. It has a restaurant provides an extensive food menu. The park has a golf course, tennis courts, game rooms, and a fitness center. The rooms offer various amenities, such as cable television, ironing boards, coffeemakers, radios, heating and cooling facilities, and hair dryers. Lake Barkley State Park also has a banquet hall for organizing various special events, weddings, business meetings and family dinners.

Gets 1 star for the view of the lake. Staff pleasant but incompetent. Issues brought to their attention were never addressed during a 5 day stay. Blaming "outside company issues ". Example:...

Amazing food, great staff. The buffet was hot and delicious. All you can eat with dessert. The atmosphere was beautiful and Christmas-y complete with Santa and Mrs. Clause.

Perfect weather for an afternoon Sunday trip to Lake Barkley State Park. We hiked with the dog and saw some beautiful creatures. The canopy of the trees keep it cool mostly. Renting the pontoon...

I have fond memories of coming here in the summer with my extended family when I was growing up, so I may be better able to overlook some of this place's shortcomings with my rose-colored glasses....
