Farm Credit Mid-America is a financial services cooperative and has served the credit needs of farmers and rural residents across Arkansas, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio and Tennessee for over a century. Backed by the strength of more than $38 billion in assets, Farm Credit Mid-America provides loans for real estate, operating, equipment, housing and related services such as crop insurance and vehicle, equipment and building leases.

Community Action Council, located in Lexington, Ky., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting poverty in Fayette, Harrison, Bourbon and Nicholas counties in Kentucky. The organization is a member of the Community Action Partnership, a national organization that represents the interests of the more than 1,000 community action agencies throughout the United States. The council is dedicated to combating poverty by offering opportunities for low-income individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and providing services so that each community member and family is able to reach their full potential. The council works to serve the low-income population through advocacy, service delivery and community involvement. The Lexington chapter was organized by five local community activists in 1965. Its services include child development, family development, energy assistance, emergency services and housing.
