Marie E. Clements, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist with Norton Children’s Neuroscience Institute, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Clements earned her medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She completed her pediatrics internship, child neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Ohio. Dr. Clements specializes in pediatric epilepsy. She provides care for children with new-onset seizures as well as refractory epilepsy. She also works in the epilepsy monitoring unit and reads electroencephalograms. She has special interests in medical and dietary management of epilepsy, and the care of adolescent and teen females with epilepsy. Dr. Clements works alongside her patients and families as a team. Her goal is to empower them to understand the diagnosis as well as the full breadth of options for treatment. Dr. Clements enjoys getting to know her patients beyond their diagnosis, learning more about their life, interests and goals. Ultimately, her aim is to ensure each patient with epilepsy continues to live a happy and fulfilling life.
