History

Bob began making Porcelain Beads in the Mid 70's and Helene began dying fabric in the early 90's. We moved to Paducah in 2004 and moved into our present location in 2010.

Specialties

We make and sell Helene's hand dyed fabric for Art Quilters, and Bob's unique polished porcelain Nerikomi Beads. We have Helene's Hand Dyed Yards, Fat Eights and Fabric Rolls of 24 strips. Bob's Unique Porcelain Beads were inspired by Venetian Trade Beads and Japanese Nerikomi Pottery and first made in the mid 70's. Bob will wholesale to qualified customers. Our shop is housed in a former Kroger's neighborhood grocery and typically open by appointment but we live and have our studios in the same building so give us a call, we can likely open our gallery for you. During the AQS QuiltWeek in April and September we have regular hours.
