Established in 1967, Communicare is a mental health center that provides a range of health care services. It serves individuals with mental retardation and substance abuse problems. The center also offers behavioral health solutions. Communicare operates in Breckinridge, Grayson, Hardin, LaRue, Marion, Meade, Nelson and Washington counties in Kentucky. In addition, it provides intensive outpatient, residential and substance abuse transitional housing services. The center offers solutions for children and adults. Communicare has semi-independent living apartments. It also provides the Supports for Community Living program. The center offers emergency solutions 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Communicare is accredited by the Better Business Bureau.
