Heroin Support

For more than 15 years, First Step Home Inc. has been an agency that provides individual and group substance abuse counseling for women and children. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, the agency provides access to medical services, mental health assessments, life skills training, financial counseling, on-site child care, twelve step meetings and connections to job readiness programs. The programs help women become self-sufficient and gain the ability to live a drug-free life with their children. For children aged 0 to 12 who live with their mothers at the facility, the center offers a comprehensive child and family development program. After the treatment women can move into transitional housing, supervised by First Step Home Inc.

The Bill and Betsy Scheben Care Center, part of family of The Point/Arc of Northern Kentucky, is dedicated to the mission of helping adults with disabilities maintain their ability to function in the home and the community. We also provide respite for families and caregivers to reduce the physical, emotional and financial stress experienced during long-term care. We want to help our clients achieve lifetime abilities. We do this by providing excellent medical rehabilitative services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients. Our Center serves persons over 16 years of age who have medical, physical, social, and/or cognitive disabilities. Our service area includes Northern Kentucky and the surrounding counties.
