Hair Hut

History

The Hair Hut opened 50 years ago under the name Pareway Barber shop. On a trip to Florida the owner saw the name Hair Hut on a shop there and decided to change Parkway to The Hair Hut. In the mid 1980's the owner became a teacher at Bailey's Barber College and sold the shop to Dorenda Gambrel. Dorenda owned the shop untill 2010,when she became ill and suddenly passed away. The Hair Hut was sold in 2010 to Peggy Cameron the current owner.

We offer a convenient location and a friendly environment to every client. Clients of mine become part of our shop. My passion is creating a style and cut that makes customers feel better about themselves. I really enjoy working with people of all different walks of life. Creating that bond where they know they can get a amazing style and can count on great service time and again. We accept walk ins as well as appointments. I know life can get busy and it is hard to set a specific time. This is why you are able to walk in to my shop and get great services any time you need. **In addition to styling and barbering our business supports local artists! We are now carrying Totes by Donna. Her one of a kind unique collection of small totes are available at this retail location only.
