I Started School In 2010, Much Later Than I Had Hoped. It Seemed like It Was Never The Right Time. My Mother Had Been Diagnosed with Dementia And I Figured it Was Now Or Never. Once I Graduated I Took A Job In Mount Washington, KY At Great Clips, I Worked There On My Clipper Skills For 14 Months And Once My Cutting Skills Were More Confident, I Returned To Full Service. In April 2012 I Started At Fantastic Sam's in Hillview. In 2014, I Competed in The Annual Artistic Styling Awards. 3 Entries And 3 Recognitions Winner, Finalist & Honorable mention. I Had Come So Far And Worked Very Hard To Get To That Elite Level Of Stylists. I Went On To Open A Brand New Salon And Spa. However That Did Not Work Out As I Had Planned. I Then Went To Another Salon But It Just Wasn't Home Either. After A Couple Disaster Salons & Kooky Owners, I Made The Decision To become My Own Boss.
