Located in Manchester, Ky., Daniel Boone Development Council offers a range of services designed to identify and address community needs. It offers various community and emergency services programs, such as food and shelter program, winter care, home energy assistance program, emergency shelter grant and tenant based rental assistance. It also offers workforce investment act program that includes guidance and counseling, study skills training, summer employment, occupational skill training, financial aid coordination, adult mentoring and supportive services. Additionally, it provides housing, weatherization, transportation and low income home energy assistance program. Daniel Boone Development Council has a child care center that provides services to more than 35 children, including infant care, toddler care and school age children.
