Simple, I specialize in eyeglasses I produce myself with no other employees. The employee cost is very high in a skilled profession. By being a Board Certified Licensed Optician with over 38 years experience as Optician, manager, owner and producer, I do not have to have anyone work for me because I can do most everything myself and I do. Yes, I work harder but you save more, a lot more on great new eyeglasses. My physical store rent is less, and all my overhead is less. (but my selection is over 1,500 name brand and designer brands to choose from-that's not small at all).
