Rebekah J. Woods, D.O., is a neurologist with Norton Neurology Services. Dr. Woods earned her medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg. She completed her residency and fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the University of Louisville. She has a special interest in electroencephalography, epilepsy and clinical neurophysiology. Amy R. Bedan-Poff, APRN, is a nurse practitioner with Norton Community Medical Associates. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University Southeast, New Albany, and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Louisville School of Nursing. She is board certified in adult primary care for patients ages 13 and older, as well as geriatric primary care.She also has received specialized training from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in the SHARE Approach, which focuses on evidence-based shared decision-making with patients. Her philosophy of care is based on the belief that patients are the captains of their own bodies and lives. She sees her role as a navigator, providing evidence-based information, guidance and access to quality health care that aligns with each patient’s personal goals. She views decision-making as a collaborative process between provider and patient.In her personal time, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, camping and exercising, and loves traveling to visit her adult children. When not on the road, she spends time reading, gardening and exploring historical and architectural sites, especially the work of Frank Lloyd Wright.
