Dr. Tammy Whitehead has 26 years of critical care and emergency nursing experience. She has been an educator and mentor to nurses and nursing students throughout her career. Dr. Whitehead completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2014. She is a dual certified in Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009 and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2020. Since beginning her career as an advanced practice provider, she has worked in various roles, including cardiology, family practice, emergency medicine, and urgent care.
